PREMIER BUSINESS PARTNER’S WHISTLE BLOWER CHANNEL

Premier’s Business Partner’s whistle blower policy makes it possible for all our business partners and other stakeholders to report any serious and sensitive concerns in a confidential manner. Premier ensures that all concerns reported in this channel are treated in a serious and appropriate manner which is directly managed by the Board.

It is optional to make either an anonymous report or a report containing personal data. If a reporter chooses not to remain anonymous, the reporter’s identity will be known to the persons that handle the case.

You can use the reporting system to report breaches of our code of conduct or violations of the law including issues relating to bribery and corruption, competition law, fraud, financial crime, and quality issues, harassment and discrimination, international trade controls, or conflicts of interest.

Acts of Wrong doings as illustrated below may include but not necessarily be limited to

  • Fraud/Embezzlement/Asset Misappropriation/Misrepresentation - Theft, misuse of assets and funds of the company, Forgery or alteration of documents.
  • Bribery/rewards - Premier Employees receiving payments / in kind from vendors / 3rd parties to gain commercial benefits / directly or indirectly - offering or giving something of value to influence a business decision of a 3rd party / or corruption in any form.
  • Abuse of Authority – Employees using their authority and position to gain commercial benefits from business partners
  • Theft of Cash/Goods – Knowledge or reasonable suspicion of Employees engaged in theft of cash or goods
  • Breach of confidentiality / secrecy pacts and inappropriate sharing of confidential information – Employees sharing confidential information with outsiders or business partners
  • Other forms of harassment, victimisation, bullying & discrimination of Business partners.
  • Any unlawful act whether Criminal/Civil
  • Deliberate violation of law /regulation

Matters pertaining to the following maybe excluded

  • Personal grievances other than those covered above.
  • Delays/Non-receipt of Payments.
  • Dissatisfaction, if any, with respect to terms and conditions of the contract(s) agreed between the Company and the Vendor from time to time

Premier will review the issue as deemed necessary and make all efforts to expeditiously look into the Protected Disclosure received from a Whistle blower.

Appropriate care will be ensured to keep identity of Whistle blower confidential

Premier may carry out such investigation through appropriate delegation/agencies. It may also engage an external consultant/expert to assist in this matter. If the alleged malpractice is required by law to be dealt with under any other mechanism, the Premier shall refer the Protected Disclosure to the appropriate authority.

If at any time, Whistle blower perceives or apprehends that he is being Unfairly victimized or harassed due to his/her act of whistleblowing, he/she shall have the right to approach the Premier who will review the Whistle blower’s complaint and take appropriate action, as applicable, to ensure that the Whistle blower is not so subjected to any unfair or Prejudicial business practices.
